spacerMichael is an award-winning director and director of photography of feature films, documentaries, drama and commercials. He is an Accreditation member of the Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS) and works closely with Kodak Motion Picture. Michael moved to the UK to shoot popular series such as 'Horizon' and 'Sherlock Holmes' for the BBC. His awards include Clio USA, Cannes Gold and Silver, Chrysler Australia, Y & R Adelaide, Venice Silver. He has worked alongside legendary commercials directors Alan Parker, Ridley and Tony Scott, and was recognized for his interpretive camera work in the cinema documentary 'Naked Yoga' which received a Hollywood Academy Award nomination.

spacerHe has shot over 300 TV commercials worldwide for leading brands, including: British Airways, BA Concorde, Ford, Volkswagen, Mercedes, Hyundai, Mitsubishi Motors, McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, Domino’s Pizza, Nestles, Kraft Foods, Heinz, Birds Eye, Kellogg’s, Cadbury, Mastercard, NatWest Bank, Halifax, Kingdom Holding Company (Saudi Arabia), and recently for Matavichy, Ecobank. Michael was also cinematographer on a variety of feature films and music videos, including 'Awedouni', performed by Amr Diab on location at Cairo and Aswan in Egypt. His professional skills have taken him to locations in Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Europe, Ireland, Turkey, Russia, Egypt, USA and UK.
